A peek before you sign in.

This is what your list looks like once you and your partner are connected — try it right here first.

A live preview — tap a checkbox and switch tabs.

Your partner doesn’t have to download anything.

Send them a link. They open it and they’re in — same list, same second. No app store, no “did you get it yet,” no waiting for them to get around to installing something.

How it works

Three ideas, and then it’s finished.

Add it in about three seconds

Type it, hit enter. That’s it. If adding a task is slower than just saying it out loud, nobody uses the app.

Three tabs, and that’s the whole thing

Mine is what you’ve been asked to do. Sent is what you’ve asked for. Done is what’s finished. There’s no fourth tab.

It shows up on the other phone

Add something and it appears on your partner’s screen. No refresh, no “did you get that.”

The two-person thing

MyHoneyDo only works for two people. That’s deliberate.

Most household apps scale up to families, roommates, chore charts, points, rewards, and a household admin who ends up managing the app on everyone else’s behalf — which is just the original problem wearing a lanyard.

Two people, one list, either of you can add to it. Nobody’s in charge of it.

What it doesn’t do

Being upfront so you don’t waste a signup.

If what you want is a family-sized chore experience — kids, chore charts, points, badges, full gamification — that’s not this. I built ChoreBlaster for exactly that. This one stays deliberately smaller, on purpose.

Install it — optional, but better

Put it on your home screen.

It works fine in a browser tab. Putting it on your home screen gives it its own icon, opens it without the browser chrome, and makes it start faster.

About this

A note from the person who built this.

I built MyHoneyDo for me and my partner because the things we needed each other to remember kept getting lost in text messages.

It’s a side project, not a company. There’s no funding, no roadmap deck, and no plan to sell you anything later. It’s free because it costs me almost nothing to run, and it will stay free.

That also means: I’m one person, it might break occasionally, and support is me answering an email when I see it. If that’s an acceptable trade, you’re very welcome to use it.

FAQ

Fair questions.

Is it really free?

Yes. No paid tier, no trial, no card. It's a side project, not a company, and it will stay free.

Do I need to make an account?

Yes — a real account with your email is how your list finds you on a new phone. Your partner needs one too, but it takes about as long as reading this sentence.

Can we use different phones?

Yes. It's a web app, so an iPhone and an Android phone work together with no difference.

Can I add a third person?

No. MyHoneyDo is deliberately for two people — one household, one list, and nobody's in charge of managing it for anyone else.

Where's my data?

In a Supabase Postgres database, protected by row-level security so your household's list is readable only by the two of you. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

What if you stop maintaining it?

Then I'll say so here well before it goes away, with enough notice to copy anything you want to keep.

Why isn't it in the App Store?

Because then your partner would have to download something first, and that's exactly the friction this is meant to remove.

Little asks. Shared home.

Two people, one list. Free, and it stays free.
